This weekend the finest Italian cars of Minnesota will be gathering around Lake Calhoun Center in a 14th annual event for Wheels of Italy. “The event showcases Italian cars, motorcycles and bikes, along with an array of food and related vendors. The event is free to attend and free for those displaying vehicles.” What usually turns out to be a solid turnout, we don’t expect anything different this year and we can’t wait to check it out!

A three day event that includes activities and fun for the entire family. Tons of cool balloons on hand with vendors and craft beers galore. Even if you don’t love balloons (because you’re a monster) because you have your reasons, you can enter into the Color Run 5K happening at the same time!

The Vikings will be hosting the Green Bay Packers in a border battle for the ages. This is the first regular season home game for the Vikings and there is no better opponent than our cheese eating neighbors to the East. With the loss of Teddy B., “undefeated” Shaun Hill will take to the field in the hopes of destroying the always destructive Aaron Rodgers in our first game against the Pack this season. Tickets are sold out, but if you try hard we’re sure there are empty seats to be found somewhere. SKOL VIKES!
