screen-shot-2016-10-25-at-9-43-02-am

News flash, Halloween is right around the corner. One could spend days aggregating a list of must attend Halloween and Fall fun activities, but what’s the point when it’s already been done? Twincities.com put together a lengthy list of Halloween events and activities to keep you busy through the Halloween season. Sure, it might not have that obscure local craft brewer pumpkin spice beer and food pairing dinner you’ve been counting down the days to, but the list is pretty darn exhaustive.

Making Trails in the Bentley Bentayga Off Road

During our recent track day Bentley was gracious enough to lend two well appointed Bentayga’s for the event. Even though they knew what we had planned for the day, they were gracious enough to send them out for us to use. While planning the track day we asked the staff at Brainerd International Raceway if they could construct an off-road course. They enthusiastically organized something special for our guests that wasn’t nothing short of amazing. The course they designed for us really had a good mix of elements to test the Bentayga and the optional All-Terrain specifications. The course started on a long hard packed dirt road, common in the north woods, while it didn’t challenge the Bentayga it was representative of what most people will encounter in Minnesota.

Further down the road we found deep sand which really showed off the ability of the terrain management’s sand mode, allowing us to dig through the ever changing conditions as the day went on. To show off how special the Bentley’s W12 engine was, we had two choices when it came to the inclines. One was a slow speed hard packed uneven terrain requiring a massive amount of torque. The other was a steep, loose sand trail requiring the speed that the 600 horsepower allows you to put to the ground. After taking customers around our course we had one more surprise for our passengers. We thought after showing the off road prowess we might as well show what this 5,400lb SUV could do from a dead stop to 60mph. Spoiler Alert: It’s 4 seconds flat
