What’s Going On – Week of 08/15/16
Adult Night at the Zoo – Thursday, August 18th
Sure it’s great to take the kids to the Minnesota Zoo and watch them experience all the animals, but half the time they are just running away and you aren’t able to see anything for yourself. Well, now is your chance to see all the animals during adult night at the zoo. You can even grab a drink and some food while you’re there and experience a special keeper talk at 6:30 & 7:30 p.m. at the Lakeside Terrace about different animals.
Open Streets Minneapolis (Franklin) – Sunday, August 21st
Even though we love our cars, sometimes you just have to close down a street and have some fun while not on four wheels. All Summer long Minnesota has different areas and neighborhoods that will close down a main street to have vendors, walking, bikers and skaters all come together and enjoy the open road! We love the idea, and what better thing to do when the weather is nice than get out and discover our lovely city.
